I agree. that board looks strange too and I think that may have been part of the problem.Looked terrible when Dane rode it for the Stab 100 contest in Mex.
The NPJ setup looks better. Thanks for pointing those outThose Dane rear fins look wierd to me. That incut is just off.
Ive ridden NPJ quartet style setups a few times and i dug them.
My favorite smaller rear quad set is the Rusty. Not sure if it’s still in stock. It was available in Futures at one point.
Where can one find theseView attachment 149476
These are a favorite of mine for small waves. They’re the “R3” template.
fronts are a proper 4.5”h M/L sized upright template and the rears are 3.75” 50/50 foil, iirc.
no where as loose as a twin but easily tweak at the end of a cutback if that’s your thing. I don’t much like them above shoulder high.
Maybe try contacting rusty.Where can one find these
They used to give the plastic 5 fin set w/ v2 foil with a new board.Agree it does look like a nice template. I think I have some oldskool plastic ones kicking around somewhere. Kind of surprising that R. doesn’t have a current Futures fin. How the mighty have fallen? Also wish theyd bring back the Stumps fin too
