Sometimes I feel like selling all my boards (20ish) and getting 4-5 boards from one shaper to cover all my bases... these are the dumb things that run through my head.

So which shaper and which models?
Im thinking Stretch: 2win Fish, Buzzsaw, some Buzz model (below the Buzzsaw), 2win

I"ve definitely thought about doing a full refresh from Stamps: Log, Banjo Fish, GX, V-12, indo fish.

Plenty of overlap in range but sometimes I want to be thrusty, sometimes I want to highline a fish.

i think we're central
I'm working towards this right now with Stretch, I think it's 100% easier to switch between boards made by the same shaper. There will always be other random boards in the mix but I want to have the "essentials" covered.

Now I have:

5'2" 2win fish - daily driver
5'10" thing - daily driver but not for me or our waves, selling
6'1" 2x4 - travel and barrel board
6'9" 2x4 - outer bar step up
8'0" buzz gun - proper outer bar (best big board ever)

I have a 5'10" 2win on order and I heard they have been doing some step-up twins in the 6'8" range...

Stamps: bento box, fuse box, wtf (double bump, diamond tail) trying to get some width outta that tail.
Had a log but sold it cause I never used the beast

You will get what like by sticking with the same shaper if he knows what he's doing.

Start by ordering a decent waves board.

If you like it, he should know what you like from feedback.

Then order a few more - small wave, stepup, daily driver, etc.

I did the Stamps quiver for a few years. It was great. It was probably better for my surfing consistency. Despite him making so many different types of boards they all feel like a Stamps, if that makes any sense.

I like trying new boards too much though. My quiver is all over the place now but I'm not mad about it.

Edit: This is a dream quiver, not my real quiver. I have the nautilus. Sorry, I thought that was the point of the post.

I have and have had several shaper quivers
I like to stick with a shaper once I commit
George Ku, Dave Parmenter, Surflights, Geminis, Terry Chung, Greg Griffin, Al Merrick, Peter Poppler

Here's some shots, some I no longer have, some have never been ridden
