yeah, Laird bashing the lip backside on 60ft lefts has never been topped by anyone anywhere.
Without a doubt among the most impressive documented big wave surfing I’ve ever seen, but I’m not sure I’d put it above what Kai Lenny has been doing there lately? Freaks of nature, both, to be sure.
Kai is next level for sure but (for me) you can’t beat those full on power hacks laird did.
Lenny is still doing a lot of tow stuff but he’s starting to bridge the gap between the two for sure.
