We need to send 10,000 new troops to Syria NOW!!!

We need to replace those 50 super-angelic-troops we just asked to leave.

Those 50 troops were saving us from complete world destruction. ABC even showed us the result.

I have a lot of respect for our military, but who knew removing 50 troops would give such a green light for all hell to break loose?

They must've been sent from God to strike hell-fire on all those that dare cross their path!

...security vacuum left by the U.S. withdrawal...

It’s in the first sentence of the link you posted.

Huh?

By all objective measures Trumby ordering a retreat has been a complete disaster. Try to keep up with the news.
But I thought it was only 50 troops and therefore only symbolic to fire up the antiwar base?

Try and keep up with all of the narratives you guys are spouting

Trump knows what his base likes.

I think the minions are discounting the threat of under reaction in this case.

Maybe we will get lucky.

LBJ/Vietnam was a disaster. This is a drop of **** in your potable water supply. I’m trying to keep up with the news. That’s why I asked you the question. If you don’t want to/can’t answer the question just say so.

How many troops were withdrawn? What did they consist of?

So Hal, you don’t know? Or don’t care? Nothing on your Twitter feed?

It was 50 troops on the front lines helping to scout and such. There was a long planned upswing in a new offensive about to go down, and Trump knew those 50 would be outnumbered badly, unless we sent 1000's more to the front. He didn't want to sacrifice them, so he pulled those 50 out. There's supposedly about 1000 US troops max in Syria as a back-up (well back from front lines). But, it's going to get worse before it gets any better at this point.

We either needed to send many 1000's more US troops in there to do the job right, or get the hell out of dodge before it becomes a hot mess. Neither decision was going to be good and please everyone. It's a total SNAFU now.

This whole mess was far from Trump's fault to begin with. He inherited it.

Now it looks like we're pulling out but we're also staying there? Trumby trying to have it both ways after his advisors told him it would be a huge mistake to just cut and run?

That doesn’t answer the question.

Your question and your premise don't matter.

It's a foreign policy disaster. It created a power vacuum that ISIS is glad to fill.
So you’re ok leaving 50 troops to get rolled over and slaughtered?

Yes or no. Pick one.

How many troops is an acceptable sacrifice in this situation?

Let’s see your number.

I hear we have 50 old nukes stored on a military base in Turkey.

Trump should rig those things with a cell phone so he can detonate them remotely and tell dem turkeys to chill or they get the BIG MUSHROOM.

Problem solved.
