Those wacky Turks just want to see if they can get away with 2 genocides in a 100 years.
Will we allow the Kurds to come to the US as refugees?

If not, do we kick out the Armenians (note that this includes the Kardashians)?

Aren’t the Kurds relatively moderate and progressive, at least by ME standards? Seems like a good ally to have in that part of the world.

They did hand us Saddam Hussein on a platter, so there’s that.

Israel is a good ally too, doesn't mean we need to keep wasting our money on them

I’d be surprised if the money given to Israel in a single day exceeded what Kurds get in an entire year.

It all come down to cost-benefit analysis for me. If it’s a net negative, I have no problem canning it.

Republican Sen. Rand Paul is part of a wide-ranging ideological group in Congress, including Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, who are calling for U.S. troops to get out of Syria.

In a letter sent to President Donald Trump on Wednesday, a dozen lawmakers urged a complete withdrawal from the country within the next six months. The administration had announced its plans for the U.S. to leave the country late last year.

That sentiment frees you up to do anything.

Do you think trump has plans for the after effects of this rash departure?

Over and under reaction are both threats.

I admit to not knowing what the situation is in Syria.

I do know that Trump will make decisions based on his own personal gain.

People in denial of this are in denial.

Trump is now saying the kurds don't deserve our help because they didn't fight with us during ww2, what an idiot!

That sentiment has to start being used. Withdrawal from the Middle East is never going to be peaceful or perfect.

Therefore, fuck em
