Which site(s) do you use for wind data?

I'm on windfinder and windy, but it seems like they underestimate.

Whatever one you use, get used to using it and know when it's under calling or over calling. None of them are correct, because wind is to hard to predict.

Ikite to answer your question though. But, it's been wrong a lot up here lately and windy has been better.

For my zone the most accurate wind forecast is the weather channel hourly forecast. It smokes Windy and Surfline for getting the direction correct, but it generally undercalls it relative to what you see at the beach, especially if it's onshore.

Actual day-of, I refer to the NDBC observation I'm most accustomed to using. In my case it's the bar pilots dock at Mayport.
