Where is a place to go where there are long pointbreaks? Right or left, I don't care. Crowd isn't too much of a factor, as long as the crowd isn't ridiculous (i.e., less than 15 guys out).

I need it to be relatively close, not much further than the distance from Central America to New Jersey (NJ is where I live).

Oh, and most importantly, it needs to be consistent, and it also needs to be safe.

I was thinking El Salvador, but it's not very safe. Maybe Cabo?

Give me your recommendations.

I'd suggest mainland Mexico. Consistent waves in summer. Plenty of points. Relatively cheap.

Costa Rica would be a decent alternative.
