To surf or not to surf (today)

Interesting internal discussion Alan and I are having today. It seems as if the small south swell is still in the water, but the elements are a concern. If it's windy, no way, but if it's just raining, then maybe. My biggest concern is all the runoff. Won't be surfing near any lagoon/river output, but I gotta beleive that crap is everywhere by now. First big rain in close to 2 months, so I'll probably be swimming in the same motor oil that leaked out of my 75 volvo (don't worry, it has racing stripes).

Don't forget all the crap from up here that's heading your way. It all rolls downhill. I'm giving OC a couple more days to clean up. New baby on the way and I can't really afford to get sick now. I'm trying to build a sleep surplus to fend off the deprivation I'll be facing in a couple of weeks. Not that it really matters but I keep telling myself it does...
