SrfKat where u surf at? i dont see many chix on high performance longboards most ride a wide old man tri fin the same way ud ride a log and ive never seen a girl do a decent lip bash. Im not saying they dont im just saying i havent seen them do it. in fact i think the only girl ive seen surf a performance board well (i mean on a pro/am level) was summer romero when i was down surfing PB and tourmaline when i was staying at my beach house there. <P> I just got off the phone with my shaper Dan Cobley and hes finnishing a new rounded pin <BR>9'1 18x22x?x2 5/8. i do enjoy watching watching him shape just dont have time this week. The man is a machine he can mow out a board soooooo fast.

SBandit, You're right about Summer. She took 3rd in her division at the Roxy. My shaper is Pat Ryan in Hermosa, I ride a MacTavish, JB model. Guy T is just a nice fantacy of mine. I dig my MacTavish and I'm working on those lip bashes. I do have a beautiful smooth noseriding style.

Wow srfcat do u normally surf in hb? i live in manhattan and normally surf 26th street in manhattan because thats where costa surf team meets or at porto, but i surf 16th in hb sometimes with my friends cuz they live there.<BR> Pat ryan shapes some cool boards i especially like some of the boards he shapes under the sex on water label i think it is, my friend mike has a brown 6'6 rounded pin tail singlefin one for barrel riding without a label thats really cool<BR> my first longboard was a jb model those things are fun <p>[This message has been edited by SombreroBandit (edited 10-14-2002).]

SBandit, I live south of you and surf mostly south Orange County and north San Diego County. As a longboarder I prefer reef and point breaks. I only surf Manhattan or Hermosa during contests in the summer. Kat
