OK you all need an update on our project. My son finished his first board and took it for a ride today. The conditions were not the best but he just couldn't wait to test it out. He was just as happy as could be about it. It was like Christmas for him in June. Maybe not the best board but to him it is. He said it is so much better than his other board its fast and turns quickly (17 1/4c x 11 1/2n 13 3/4t 2 1/8 thick nose rocker around 5 1/2" and tail 2 1/2) he wants to make more all ready so we will see what the future has in store. He made a logo for it called 8 ball surfboards. Overall I would say I'm very please with what he did and how much pride he took in doing it. We had the best time doing it together. Dad has to get better at glassing <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/foreheadslap.gif" alt="" /> Maybe I'll get the glassing 101 video to help me out.
