Hey Kids - Come ride the deep..
Just getting the word out about Secret Stash Alpine Adventures in Nelson BC (secretstash.ca). I am a skiier, who leaves the mountains to surf, and decided to alure some surfers to leave the beach and ride some deep powder.
Nelson is the meca for Cat Skiing in BC - 17 operations within 2 hours of here. We put full packages together with Resort and Cat Skiing adventures (Baldface Lodge, Valhalla PowderCats), along with booking all hotels, and doing all the driving. We are former patrollers from Whitewater, and will show you the goods like no one else. Give us a shout, mention where you heard about us. we guqrqntee good times.

The Cat Skiing rates are definatley comparable with Mount Bailey - I assure you deeper and lighter snow though. As far as verticle per day, plenty. Check out our website, secretstash.ca, and go to our parteners, and click on Valhalla PowderCats. They are the crew I'd set you up with. I just talked to Martin from Valhalla, and these are the vert stats; minimum 12000ft./day, average 16000ft./day, up to 20000ft./day (depending on ability level of group). This means, 6 to 10 runs(5 to 10 minute Cat ride), and the vert put run is 3300 feet.
If you are interested, email us from the address on the site too. If you like Bailey, you will love what Nelson has to Offer. I suggest coming for a week, and checking the local hills out as well (we are ex patrollers, and know the goods at the local mountains). We can put a full package together that I guarantee will put a smile on your face. We do pickup and drop off from Spokane Wa, drive you to the hills, and hotsprings, and show you around town (where to eat, drink, etc..)
