LIVE from INDONESIA, its Surf Doc...

Yes, nothing like a good cleaning out from a bad hairy wipeout. It can happen, butt pretty rare...heh heh...

No worse than getting worked here. SurfDoc showing his age a bit...ouch...reality bites!

Did manage to catch a little something at Kuta Reef. Firing left walls at the end of the day with howling offshores! Uluwatu was going good too, but I took a pass on that. Don't need to be picking reef bits out of missing body parts hey?

Surf Doc -

That paddle out off the low tide reef at Uluwatu on a big day is death defying. I tried to make it out on a huge day when surfers could only get to Outside Corner. I was thrown back maybe 15 times before I gave up.

I came in bloody and dejected. A few large Bintangs and I was okay.

The story goes like this...

The guy was surfing in Samoa, big waves, warm water. He bailed at the top on a big wave and fell ass first. the water shot up his trucks, into his lower intestine, "Like a firehose was attached to my a**hole."

He made it to the surface and was hit by another wave. He had an immediate urge to sh*t and "Unloaded" when he reached the surface.

He thinks he tore his ass, and believes this is why he has hemoroids today.

There's more...

He believes the tear got infected and caused a blood infection that causes him from time to time go on antibiotics as it doesn't heal.

He won't have a doctor look at it because he doesn't want anyone to go near his "anals." So every time he goes to Mexico he picks up more antibiotics.

I read an interview years ago with Bradshaw, Foo or Erickson, or one of the big-wave guys, where they told how they'd hit the water arse-first at Waimea and underwent an 'au naturel' colonic.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

We've determined salt water enemas happen. Fine.
However, the issue is the man with recurrent anal pathology who refuses to see a doctor. Big problem. Sooner or later we will all have to undergo "the exam" male and female alike. Sooner for sure for this fella. GO and KNOW!

He was a big guy from Cayucos. Two things I remember were he would go into the farmacia and get Keflex and Cipro in case he started feeling bad.

The second was he would spend like an hour in the only bathroom in a restaurant by the beach in Sayulita.

Can you abuse antibiotics? What can happen to him?

Too many antibiotics? Well yessiree. That's how drug resisitant strains of bacteria emerge. And why try to temporarily fix a problem that might be permanently fixed with a minor procedure?

The chick on happyshark.com?
That would be the lovely, smart, and USC student Heather!
