Hi, I'm going to France (biarritz, Hossegor) and the Peniche and Ericiera area of Portugal in Oct and Nov. I wanted a cheap way of getting around locally to the breaks and was wondering if anyone has ever just rented a bicycle to get to the local breaks (it's faster than walking). Are the breaks around Hossegor and Ericiera within a decent Bicyling distance? I saw on the net that it seems like you can rent bikes in most of Europe. Obviously for the long distances, I will be taking a train or possibly a rental car. Thanks for any info.

Renting a bicycle for local trans. in France and Portugal??

In Hossegor, sure you can rent a bike and go from one spot to another using it, Ericeira is a different place.
