Here's my quiver
I'm 5'11" 145 lbs, sometimes 155 lbs.
5'10" x 21 x 3" twin-fin fish (rarely used)
Used when its glassy and crumbly.
5'10" x 20 x 2 1/2 twinzer quad fin fish (used somewhat
often)
Also used when its glassy and crumbly.
5'11" x 19.25 x 2 1/2 single fin (used rarely)
I just got it, but I got it for waves waist-shoulder high and really hollow.
5'11" x 19.5 x 2 1/2 bonzer egg (used often)
Used for clean, fast waist-head high waves.
6'0" x 18 3/4 x 2 3/8" small-wave thruster (used somewhat often)
Used for sectiony or closed out surf (to hit the lip)
7'2" x ? x ? single fin semi gun (somewhat often)
As soon as it hits about 8-foot (faces)
9'2" single fin longboard (most often used)
Used whenever it's offshore and glassy, from knee high up to around shoulder high.
I was thinking about getting a 9'6" noserider for the small lined up days. I'm afraid if I bought that, it would be too similar to my 9'2". My longboard is my most often used board and probably my favorite.
I was also thinking of getting a bonzer 6'6" for the overhead days. Right now I'm using the 7'2" single fin for when it gets overhead or any bigger, but sometimes I don't need a 7'2" for 8-foot waves.
Just wanted to see what you guys thought would be good for my next board. The reason I ask is because my parents said I could get any board I want if I got 1st honor roll for the whole year. So far it seems like I'll be able to do it (did it for the first 2 marking periods, only 2 to go)
