re: swells. buy Indo Surf & Lingo or 'Surfing Indonesia'. both can be found on amazon.com for around $20.

re: boards. no idea.

here is a good thread on Bali with lots of helpful information including links, etc. you'll need to be aware of the Visa information for tourists (most important).

Get the Bali/G-Land SURFER Travel Report.

We just updated the report for this location in Dec. 2004. Peter Neely, the author of Indo Lingo was the field editor, who lives in Bali.

Go to: http://asp.flipserver.net/primedia/surfermag/ or click on the animated book on the travel home page: surfermag.com/travel <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/computer.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the heads up on the Visa Info. I'll check it out. Is it required for everyone to have one, I'll only to there two weeks?

"I'll only to there two weeks? "

You can buy a Visa on Arrival at the airport 30 days for $25. It depends on what country you are from though. When they implimented it they left Ireland off the list, but the probably fixed that by now because its been a pretty good cash generator and they wouldn't want to leave anyone out.
