living by the beach and mold!

how bad is mold? IM wondering cause my last place I lived was moldy and by the beach!

also, when traveling mold can be a problem, and you really never notice!

Mold. Mold is bad for people who are allergic to it. Mold is bad for people who don't like the smell. Mold is bad for food if you are planning on eating that moldy food (unless its bleu cheese etc.).

Mold grows everywhere, not just at the beach. Mold is weird, but its here to stay. We all have to deal with it somehow. Clean dry living areas, well ventilated, and so on.

best way is to have one of those energy effcient houses (so its sealed), and run dehumidifiers. Or equip your AC with that or air freshener devices. And have mold filters in AC or dehumidifiers. The dryer (hehe) your place is, the less mold is a problem.

Just remember to air out your house with fresh air to get rid of radon build up (natural radiation) every so often.

Also helps if your place was recently built (mold seems to grow in older places)
