My last job they very sneakily (so they thought) ripped me off of O/T hours. I called them out on it and got some pathetic excuse. Needless to say I was out of there pretty quick, it was a rad as hell job but i know I bust my ass off and have no patience for an employer that fucks around. Lots of businesses do this and many employees don’t have the balls to say something, presumably out of fear of losing their job that is probably vital to their lives.

This is obviously good reasoning for union protection but it’s my understanding that there’s laws in place that can be used on your own to pursue getting that fixed, or at the very least the employer paying for it (legally speaking).

The place my buddy and I used to work at paid us daily and your rate would not change whether you worked 4 or 18 hours. He got enough for a down payment on his house out of that.

And yes, oddly enough, I have been a union member. Only had the job for a few years, but the pay was great and the scenery was even better.

No, I'm telling you that you can't be a DREAMer unless you're part of DACA. The number of DREAMers is correct, it's your understanding of what a DREAMer is that's wrong.

The same way that many of the parents that entered the country illegally and brought their children illegally didn't take advantage of previously available amnesty programs. Too lazy or afraid. Some of the parents of children in this situation that I know didn't apply because they had criminal records both in the USA and Mexico, multiple deportations, etc.

You're still using terms incorrectly then. The number you got from Anderson Cooper is the number registered under DACA. That's what a DREAMer is. It's not people too lazy to apply - those are simply illegal immigrants.
