We will be staying overnight in Panama City, Panama and then leaving early in the morning for a flight out at 6:30am to the islands. We will be leaving from Albrook airport not Tocumen the International Airport. I know that these two airports are about 30-45min apart. Does anyone have any suggestions on hotels in Panama City? Or know where to stay away from? Any other tips? Thanks

Hotels for overnight stay in Panama City, Panama?

we stayed in the hotel Roma in May of 2001 (nearly 4 years ago) it was nice - about 40 bucks a night - semmed pretty secure - the misses liked it - but the pool - although we used it - coulda been cleaned a little more -
some good seafood restaurants right doen the street -
still shady enough though to require cabbin it after dark -
i think we found it on the internet -
seemed popular with local businessmen-
