SCRUB IT, KOOK!

She's running around here repeating it over and over again right now, and then laughing herself silly.

Yeah, just wait till she starts answering the phone.

Ring, ring...
Daughter answers:

"Hello?"

"Hi, is your Daddy there?"

"No, da kook's gone."

"Huh? Your daddy's not there?"

"Nah, haole was FOP. We tell him to split."

The trip was trippy!

It was so much fun that I'll be riding high off of it for a long time. I think I need to move up there.

OK I'm teaching that to my 9 & 5 year olds tonight. I predict that within a week the entire student body of St Elizabeth Anne Seton school here in NY will be infected with that phrase!

My 5 year old daughter is now fond of "SCRUB IT, KOOK!" too.

My mother-in-law looked at me like I'm nuts last week when the 18 month old fell and bumped her noggin on the floor (carpeted, so no biggie).
My wife said to her "It's OK, just rub it", which prompted me to yell........

"SCRUB IT, KOOK!"

By the by, I enjoyed your comments on the surfing alone thread.

if you ever decide to move up there, check out Fort Bragg Advocate-News. i imagine rents are dirt cheap compared to the city, and there's always work somewhere. i have often thought about going back in that direction. the vibe is so much nicer than where i am currently at.

Hi nep.
I'm very proud of you for teaching your daughter the ways of North Shore.

I think, and that Acqua would agree, that you should next teach her: "I take champagne."

This would be great to hear when you ask her if she's thirsty.

I'm on a lunch break for jury duty selection right now. Sucks. But the jury must be selected today, so I'm almost done.
