My friend who is a team rider for Michael Baron recently got in an accident which ended his surfing career. He gave me his new board that is 6'5 x 18 x 2.25 which is in near-perfect condition. The board has no dings (not even pressure ones) since its only been used 3-4 times and is in awesome condition. Unfortunately, I am 6'3 180 pounds and this board is just too small for me to start shortboarding on. So now I'm looking to trade my board for one that is between 6'7-6'10 with rails at least 2.5 inches thick. The board I have is awesome looking with a blue design running down it and since it was custom made for my friend it's not available in stores. It would probably cost at least $400 in its current condition in a surf shop. Let me know if you want to trade boards. I'm in La Jolla but could travel to most places in Southern California.
