I stumbled upon a well crafted old school style twin keel fish in the used rack of my local shop. I believe it's a backyard/garage builder but he obvisly knew what he was doing.

It just says "Oh No! Surfboards by Mr. Bill" on the stringer on the deck along with "Flying fish," on the bottom along the stringer it just has the dims. I'm looking for any info on the shaper of this board. The shop didn't know anything. Maybe even the shaper of this board is a regular here.

Well that makes sense. Found the board at Becker in malibu in the used rack. What else do you know about Mr. Bill? I really dig this board. I've had it out in one foot mush up t o clean head-high + from the last big swell. Does he shape under another name? A ghost shaper perhaps? What's his deal? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/facelick.gif" alt="" />

Mr. Bill was a comedy writer in Hollywood who lived in
the Zuma area.
This must have been his pre-Bill Mahre show days
when he was heavily influenced by Saturday Night Live.

As he would fondly and usually say,
the joke is on you.
