Usually when you see that much weight lifted it's some dude in a 3-ply suit and knee wraps waddling under a monolift.
I agree - huge difference between unracking and walking it out and unracking and have the hooks moved.
Still remember pictures of Ed Coan’s tibia folding in half walking out a heavy squat . Friggin brutal image

I wish you hadn't told me about that. The spotters were totally useless. They're lucky their feet weren't crushed.

Back in the late 70s or early 80s there was a weightlifting competition either Olympics or Wide World Of Sports and a top lifter of the era, Alexeev perhaps, blew out his femur during a lift on live TV. Anybody remember that one.

I just put a landmine setup in my garage.
