Who knows what the real story is vs the official story of his firing.

And we really know zilch about what the phonecall entailed.

Frankly at this point in time I don't trust anonymous sources from any side. Their record thus far has been poor (even Comey testified this under oath) and in this sort of politicized environment you'd be crazy to trust them. (See my posts regarding Hannity's Seth Rich FBI "sources".)
