Reason #568 that I HATE my career and it's associated commute...
Got in an accident on the 5 southbound this morning. No injuries, everyone's fine. But my Jeep's not. Front end is totally bashed in and the thing's undriveable. Had to get a tow back to Ventura.
Spent an hour standing on the freeway waiting for a tow. Another three hours dealing with the situation. On the bright side, it gave me a legitimate excuse to not attend two meetings I didn't want to attend in th first place. And now I have a rental Jeep - so I get to test drive a 2003 for a couple weeks.
This just sucks. It was bound to happen though I guess... commuting 3 hours daily in LA traffic the odds are against you I suppose.
Beware the dreaded domino effect! Especially on bright sunny mornings where there's heavy stop & go traffic and you're driving straight into the rising sun.

This is a really heavy straw heaped onto the camel's back. There has GOT to be another way to pay the phucking bills without having to drive everyday.
DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT

Well, I guess there's only one thing to do; milk this legitimate excuse out a little longer and go surfing.
I need a new job.
