I'm in the begining stages of putting a trip together for late July early August for two weeks. I've been to each location and can't decide where to go this trip. Where would you go?
Costa Rica- pros-safe, easy, variety of breaks(been 5 times)
cons-crowded, not really that epic from what I remember(few points and reefs that get crowded in the summer)
El Salvador- pros-uncrowded, sick right points, my best trip ever was there, cheap, uncrowded
cons-sketchy(even though I never had problems),no night life(but who cares, I'm going to surf)
Mexico(Mainland) - pros- also cheap(as are the other options), crowds aren't too bad, long left points(Bobsurf can atest to this)variety of waves within a few hours
cons - I've been a bunch of times, airfare can be high, a little more sketchy than Costa but not as El Salvador(although I've never had problems in 10 trips to Mainland
