lets just say the first 2 days were very interesting but the locals r really nice and they gave me hints here and there and i actually picked it up pretty fast.
ive got a 6'10 BIC that ill let go for 150. its been in the water one time for less than an hour. basically brand new. where are u located at?

Donald, don't jump on the anti Surftech bandwagon too hard or it might hit you in the face....
Bics are made in France, by Frenchmen, and that one is epoxy/styro tech, AceTec technology.
Factory made, yes, but in Europe. Been making Bic windsurfboards since 1981! They also make boards for a couple of other now defunct windsurfer companies.

bics are made from reject pens and lighters,,,,save yourself the embarrasmennt from what real surfers are thinking .....go to a pawn shop and buy a real surfboard for cheap,,,,,that way you might still suck but at least you are on a real surfboard....dont worry youll get better but a bic wont.

Some peeps choose kayaks, other's paipo boards, some fish, some twins.
Maybe the Bic surfboard makes YOU look bad when you go surfing, but I have on record at least 3 surfshop owners who were amazed how good a Bic can work in S swell overhead conditions.
