Night swim with Manta Rays
Jump off the end of the world (NOT South Point)
Go to South Point
Check out the Botanical Garden in Hilo (seriously - I'm not a plants person but it's insane, and there's a killer break right off the pathway there)
Swim out from the Kona Pier to the 1 mile buoy, and hope you see dolphins
Go to Two Step and dive down to the Aloha bricks
Body surf at Magic's
Body surf at Ku'a Bay
Surf, anywhere you can except Banyans, for the love of God
Eat a lot of local ice cream
Figure out the rest yourself

Little known fact: The restaurant there at Magic's used to be called Dorian's. Shane's dad owned it.

Killer trip! Already want to go back. Between family plans and juggling kids it was hard to get much away from base camp, but we managed a couple shorter excursions.

All told, managed to fit in family beach sessions (and swim workouts) at hapuna a couple times, a trip up to waimea and it was sunny!, a failed/rained out attempt to visit Kamehameha’s birthsite and the sacrificial altar, a night snorkel with mantas, a ton of condo-side pool and beach hanging, and letting kids run feral.
