Everywhere I've worked there always seems to be at least one person who is 100% percent negative all the time. I try to stay away. It's hard to watch.

I don’t drink. But when I did I was a very happy drunk. You sound like you need a drink! Are you a happy drunk? I’ll bet not.
its cancer in a workplace.I have several people where I work that are negative always.
When they lead in with the neg I just walk away and I don't even try to be nice about it anymore.
Neg... later.

Not sure if it's real science or snake oil, since every doctor is selling a book, but I've watched some youtube vids where they're saying all thoughts (brain activity) create chemicals and we get addicted to those chemicals. Negative thought creates a chemical in the body that we get addicted to.Oddly, negative thinking correlates with intelligence.
Even stranger, it's estimated somewhere around 80% of thoughts flowing through the brain every day are negative.

Not sure if it's related, but I have the hardest time letting go of disappointment. I got fugged over royally at work 6 months ago and I still think about it multiple times a day.

"Nobody listens to Turtle"I do that all the time, whenever this one guy comes around the corner, or when his mouth starts to move.
That probably would help but I'd rather it not be documented here forever. What happened 6 months ago
putting it out there may help put it completely behind you
