FWIW, condolences to friends and family. They didn't choose the path of the person they are mourning. However I have a tough time feeling sorry for individuals (read: not their loved ones) who voluntarily engage in absurdly dangerous behavior and end up paying the ultimate price. Far too many people die everyday on this planet through no fault of their own to feel sorry for someone like this.
