6'1 and riding a 6'3, but I just turned 60 last Sunday, and ride in decent sized point surf. Could easily ride a 6'2 or even 6'1, but there's no need.
Happy birthday brother. Hope i am still surfing shortboards at 60. Im 6'3 so prob need at least a 6-2 or maybe custom 6-3

Thanks, fellas.

As FR can attest to, my surfing doesn't exactly set the world alight, but at least I can still paddle and surf a shorty, get waves in a competitive lineup, and surf legit 10ft waves on a proper gun. So life is not all bad.

It seems most size this similar to their height or a wee bit more. Would most agree for an average surfer, about your height for waves not quite there for your ghost, but decent, up to a bit OH waves? Same length as your ghost?(or equivalent good wave shortboard) Thanks. Happy new year!

For me, inch or two shorter than my height and my ghost. Ghost 6’0, pyzalien 5’10 ish.

Agree. I’m 6’1. My 5’11 P2XL is shorter n stubbier- more pragmatic for my local spots. While the 6’3 ghost is more “aspirational”- for sick OH waves that I rarely get. I think the P2 is pretty versatile and can be scaled up/down depending on what you’re looking for. I’ve considered a 6’3 P2 would get used more than the ghost since the rocker fits these waves so well.

Awesome. Thanks for the replies. I guess I should add, I’m in a 6/5 with thick boots and gloves. But what you’re saying is consistent with the pyzel website too. :shaka:
