The first clip was mocking the absurdity of the fight that ensued when a now transgender man (who had applied to and was accepted to Wellesley - an all girls school - as a female) ran for office as a diversity officer. Her opponents apparently didn't like that he was now a white male and thus didn't think he was qualified for the role.

BS. These activists are demanding that society bend to the whims of the squeakiest wheels, and change their language accordingly. That's more than just asking some to "listen".
They are also demanding that a presidential candidate withdraw the endorsement of one of today's most influential social media figures, who's endorsement arguably helps Bernie's campaign far more than it hurts. So yeah, more than just listening.
