It's tactically smart that you get your boards to look similar. I try to make certain that I do this with all my boards so the Mrs. doesn't figure out that I spent money on surfboards when I have a few already.
I treat my surfboard purchases like an act of national security and I am a spy working behind enemy lines. Loose lips sink ships.
My wife thinks it's adorable when I go to meet up with one of you clowns IRL to surf or swap boars. She's sooo patronizing about it.my wife was in the garage while I was taking pictures of the new board, and I told her I was excited to show my internet forum friends
I do recommend sizing up on fins, so I think you are doing the best move already. JJF fins or our Pyzel fins are good. If you want to try a quad set that is a good start too. I did not design the board/fin placement with twin/tralier in mind so the fins would end up further up than if I did, but that does not mean that it won't work. Give it a try and let us know how it went. What fins have you guys been running in the white tiger? So far I’ve only ran the jjf tech flex large thruster (usually run medium fins but was told to go large being a skatey short board). Wondering how other fins go. Maybe twin plus trailer in small waves?

I went with 5'11 x 19.75 x 2.63 at 32.8L for my Red TigerHow ya liking the RT vs P2 so far? What dims you go with?
This is the kind of hair splitting I am here forI went with 5'11 x 19.75 x 2.63 at 32.8L for my Red Tiger
My P2XL is 5'11 x 19.87 x 2.56 at 32.5L
Haven't gotten the RT in enough decent waves yet to come up with a fair verdict. I will say it paddles slightly better than the P2XL which I'm assuming has to do with the lower entry rocker. I'll report back after I get some more sessions with it
I do. I have ridden the WT a lot, only like 10 sessions on the RT. You can tell that they share the same DNA, there's a similar feel under the rear foot with the significant double concave. There's 5 inch of difference in length and I've only ridden the WT as a quad whilst the RT is thrusty only, so it's still an apples to oranges comparison. If you love the WT chances are you'll enjoy the RT I'd say.Anyone have a White Tiger and a Red Tiger? I got a White Tiger this summer and love it, was curious if anyone has both and can speak to how they might compare feeling wise
Probably similar to TFK size. TS5 demoed one and said to go as short as possible. How are folks sizing the WT compared to their “Fish” dims?
