I filled my tank up once last month

so, yes, I laugh because when I look at prices like that I remember how lucky I am to not have to commute and to be able to do simple errands on foot or bicycle

because they sell you things? lolwut?

core software updates are free for Tesla....
How many times do you fill the tank on your pickup gas hog when you’re not occupied with work and drive to hike in the Sierras to visit nature? EV airplanes for business travel when necessary?

Post a picture of your Tesla.

EV’s are available to you right now and you can afford one. They’re not available to me and if I was in your situation la ogra would be driving one.

Are we gonna have to pry your gas hog out of your cold dead hands?

Why?

try harder, bud

my truck gets nearly 20 miles to the gallon which is quite efficient for such a late model pickup

there are charging stations along the entire route to the sierra; the distance to my usual trailhead is within the range of a single charge for the model 3.

I love this fallacy that I have to buy a thing I do not currently need because I support it - that makes a ton of sense

I mean I support abortion so I should go out and get an abortion to prove it, right?

How exactly do the charging stations along the entire route affect you? They don’t. That’s how. N/A, not applicable.

I support it too, find where I don’t. Available to you, not available to me.

I will perform your abortion. Whether you need one or not.

you brought up driving to the mountains like it was some sort of gotcha

I don't have to do a thing just because I support that thing

I support felons having the right to vote. does that mean I should go commit a felony?

I think universal medicare is a good idea. does that mean I should quit my job and get on medicare?

I think that members of congress should not be allowed to trade stocks. should I sell all my stocks for that to be a valid opinion?

I was at my DT friend's party at Canyon Lake and somehow I said I support universal medicare because it would fix a ton of problems in the country.

So old Canyon Lake kunt says "You just want free medical!"

I was like "I'm a state worker, bitch. I got my free medical already as part of my salary package!" :dancing:

Again, how heroic of you.

All felons?

Horrible comparison.

Are you running for Congress? If not, N/A. Why limit it to stocks?

no more horrible a comparison than constantly trotting out this ridiculous trope that I have to go out and buy a electric vehicle because I think electric vehicles are a good idea

Ok you win. Thanks for not doing your part to save the environment.

Who said you had to?

It's not a fallacy. You're constantly gushing over how much better EVs are yet you won't buy one. You don't truly support it unitl you put your money where your mouth is

It's probably "greener" to just not CONSOOOOOM. Our boy is probably best off continuing to dwell close to work and minimally operating a sunk cost into the ground vs creating demand for a new vehicle, electric, ICE or hybrid, before the time comes.

#TeamAfoaf. And we should settle it with surf-off at Ogro's. Libs vs Cons. Left vs Right. Goofyfoots vs Regularfoots. Losers install a furnace that burns pandas, baby jaguars, and endangered amphibians so there's A/C at Ogro's.

EVs are a product for the top 10% - really a "premium mediocre" benefit for the managerial class. I've already explained why mining and energy constraints prevent this from becoming more than a niche product. The energy constraints are getting worse in the "Agenda 2030" states. You can click back through this site to see the YoY energy price increase in CA, for example - we keep adding "green" power and energy prices keep going up. There was a ~10% increase/kWh between 2021 and 2022. You hear merchants complaining about it. If you're an EV owner, you can always offset the price hikes with sponge baths and washing your clothes less often.

I could barely wipe my own ass yesterday. Left ankle not that happy. Right leg has fin laceration with the purples and yellows starting to appear around it. Leg muscles in general about to cramp with me crumpling to the floor, tears and sweat beading. PJHP folded on a North Guana high tide bowl like Obama on the public option. Hips frozen. Entire back is one big ache/muscle spasm.

The waiting period is June 15 - August 15.
