It's interesting how most of the two board quivers listed here don't really have a HPSB.
Groveler/step down + step up/good wave board seems more common.
It makes sense for max range but it's just funny because if I had to pick just one board it'd probably be something like the i72 or Driver.
The Plasmic is a very popular board.

That's when the 9'8" comes into play. It's a heavy beast that just cruises. Fun to just trim on tiny waves. It done in fin set up you like " mine It2win" is pretty fun but pretty foiled not the greatest low end knee and under.
OBX has better waves IMO esp for what you like.Love the optimist waaay out back hoping for a miracle. I learned to surf in VA and OBX and it was fun,
but I'm much happier I moved to the PNW.
I think its the 2' varying tide part of the question for me. 2' high tide I would want something that carries speed easier. It's interesting how most of the two board quivers listed here don't really have a HPSB.

That's almost certainly a bird. Given how warm the Winter has been and how much better the fishing normally is than the surfing, the optimists are headed towards the peaklet.Love the optimist waaay out back hoping for a miracle. I learned to surf in VA and OBX and it was fun,
