A few things on the chopping block. Put the old Happy Everyday and Two Happy into dry dock to make room on the rack.

Sheesh.

That twinzer looks fun for where I'm heading in a few minutes.

I am probably most excited about that board. It feels insane under the arm; it's going to be a total rocket.

The 6'0 Two Happy, with its round tail and a bump of 1/8 in thickness, also feels money. It pushed the volume from 30.5L to 31.1L without any noticeable difference in rail volume. Stoked for the extra half-liter.

I am interested in seeing how the 2.pro goes. I had one before, and it was a bit challenging to surf, but I think it'll fit my needs better with an extra inch in length and a little bump in volume. It feels like a weapon under my arm. Looking forward to getting that one into some nice round waves on the north end of the beach.

Poor person used yolo. 5’8 x 20 x 2.5 og Pod. Ad said it was basically “new” with no dings. Guy had stacks of waxed and unbagged boards piled in the car. Dirty wax all over the bottom and rails. Couple repaired dings and a few fractures I discovered after cleaning it that need to be fixed. Talked him down a bit but still probably overpaid. Not a huge eps guy but has a standard glass job so it has some weight to it. Will probably pull the front grip. Seems pretty slippery. Excuse the unkempt board shack background.

If you don’t like it I’ll take it for what you paid.

Beautiful board, but I doubt your front foot will even be on the pad

Second review of this quiver.

I got the 6'1 2.pro in the water this morning, and damn, this thing RIPS.

I had a used 6'0 2.pro in the right dims that looked amazing, but it was EPS/Exoxy, and I never really clicked with it. I love the look of the board, though, so I wanted to give it another chance, and I'm glad I did.

It was not the ideal wave for the board, but it was still a good test of its capabilities. Drops were well overhead, with solid but kind of soft shoulders on the north end of the beach. There was a lot of water moving around.

My last 2.pro paddled like dogshit. To my relief, this board paddled awesome. For sure, the extra inch, extra 1/8 in thickness, and extra liter of volume helped. But even for a board with 31.7L but this much rocker and that pulled in an outline, I was really impressed with how well it paddled. It seems like the rocker is much more refined than my early version.

Fortunately, that translated into catching waves surprisingly well. I still had to sit under the lip, but the board would slide right in, and it just felt so solid and composed on big drops. Once you're in the wave, the board FLIES but is still so easy to maneuver without feeling twitchy at all.

All I can say is that this is absolutely a state-of-the-art HPSB. It's like driving a modern, top-of-the-line sports car—insanely fast, responsive, but still easy to drive.
