Bought a new PU board off the rack recently, and I've noticed that the underside of the rails at the front of the board are slightly yellow. It's very faint (not something I'm able to capture with an iPhone), but I'm curious what may have caused this.

None of these explanations make sense (except maybe the rebranded Firewire). The board was made for the shop by a relatively smalltime shaper, and I bought as soon as they got it in. Could this be a chemical or resin curing issue?

Fuggin hate it. My EPS / Epoxy from 2017 that Rusty claims is much less susceptible to yellowing is pretty damn discolored less than 4 years later... and it was always kept IN a board bag / out of the sun when travelling or on the beach, and always kept OUT of a bag when being stored in the shade / garage.

Honestly makes me like the board less. lol

For what its worth, LibTech wrote me back and said they've been painting all of their boards white (foam or top sheet I guess..??..) for years, and my 3 year old Lib Tech is still pretty true to original color / white.

My Lib Tech board from 2015 yellowed though.
