I had one in 2014 - but it was stringerless and I was super paranoid i'd snap it - especially at 7'11. Funnish board, but better mid-lengths for the job. I also like to move around a bit on a mid length and never felt like you could do that on the vbowls - especially the top third. I sold it for more than I bought it for after riding it for 12 months. They were really rare here in Oz at the time. The kid busted it a month later and had it repaired, but was never the same.

basically this-

i have the andreini version-

double enda. above is not mine. mine is stringered 7-9. really fun. really loose. shines in clean medium to low energy waves to shoulder highish.
easily overpowered though proper finning helps extend the range. good when your feeling light footed and want to get your style on.

strange I always understood that piggish boards were good for beachbreak/shifty conditions cause of where the wide point is.
I think they do. I’ve got a mandala clandestino and ride mine pretty often in the outer banks. Less extreme compared to the v bowls in terms of outline and foil, but very fun.

We need a full quiver breakdown from you, Doc. You've teased some epic boards.

The 608 is a great shoe and will last a decade or more

Frugality + function over fashion.

Jorts not included.

Why not a Re-bowls? I almost pulled the trigger on my shaper's personal board which was his take on the Re-bowls but in his paulownia/cork/eps construction. User friendly shape.
