Its been mocked and said it would not work.
Well it works....and a load of poeple are buying them. Personally have been enjoying this very much.

Much more like surfing than kiting or windsurfing.
The wing lifts so your arms dont tire....even after a couple hours of riding.
Wing board and leash.
Super simple.
No harness or lines or bar or........

Tons of recent videos on this youtube account.
this is definitely happening
and that website on the video is selling them.

An unbiased review it seems. I was mostly interested in the pictures of new naish foils.

Lots of haters for this new thing! Being a naturally argumentative person, I've been taking some of them on in other forums. (and if everyone was super crazy hyped on these, I'd probably argue it the other way ;-)

Some of this is to be expected, from surfers who hate anything other than standard tri-fins. But surprising to see it from kiters (if it's windy, why wouldn't you just kite) and windsurfers (how about attaching a pole and using a harness so you don't have to hold onto the wing). Being a kiter, who fully recognizes how kooky kiting is, I am amused by them playing the cool kid card in mocking these wings. IMHO (or not so humble opinion), the vast majority of kiters and windsurfers are not surfers first, and have no clue about surfing. And that translates into not seeing the potential.

I envision
1. sup/surf foil sessions, riding super long waves without having to paddle back.
2. downwind foil wave riding, endless swells without having to paddle your a** off

But I don't yet envision dropping $1000 on the experiment. I am going to jerry rig a kite version, try a buddy's that's on the way, bide my time til prices drop or used ones appear. :) Or until that lucrative sponsorship deal comes my way.

I got a Signature twin strut wing from the guys on that website spacestick.
Rode the Naish demo in Hawaii and it was so fun. But then rode a twin strut and it has WAY more control.
One hand on top strut and one on bottom. Naish says wings are not available till late July. All the other brands the same even slingshot isn't till july.
But twin strut guys are still making them every day. Got a 4 meter and it is fun on and SUP. Still getting the foil part but it's been so fun when I get going!!!

I had lunch down at Ho'okipa yesterday and happened to witness Robbie Naish and Michi taking turns with the Naish wing with a bigger prone foil board. I can say it looks pretty user friendly even for a non wind sport person.

Im seriously considering getting one.

Was three weeks to my door from when I ordered. single strut works but after twin strut single feels kinda wobbly. twin gives you a top and bottom to grab to control tilting it better. They told me a few are shipping to so cal so they will be around

I’m on the fence about these, maybe waiting for gen 2 but I cannot deny they would’ve come in very handy here over the last week or so.

The owner of spacesticklab.com said that a couple companies have over 6000 orders for wings.
Takes about 45 days to get one built and sent to ya.

Yeah i heard that they are already putting naish and slings on sale because they flew the twin strut Wings and gonna make their next batch as two struts also. Seems they kept that twin strut a secret naish or sling never saw it. Probably because spacestick tests them in south Africa
