If you’re saying that morality comes from books, I will point out that there are literally millions of books in the world. Only a small fraction of them are religious texts. The subject of many books is specifically about morality, and even most silly fictional stories contain moral lessons.Again, as I said earlier, a vast majority of the world's cultures have religions with ancient books basically preaching the same teachings/lessons of the Christian Bible (more or less). Do I have to list all the worlds religions to you?
Ever here of the Tipitaka? Just one non-Christian example of their version of the Bible.
The Vida? The Quran? I could go on.
Billions of people use these books/teachings/lessons as moral guidelines for their daily lives.
Again, what does the Atheist have as moral guideline passed down generation to generation?
I really would like to add it to my list.
There’s a significant difference between religious doctrine, morality, and ‘the rule of law’. For one thing, the rule of law applies to all, ruler and the ruled. Religious leaders are free to revise moral proclamations whenever the whim strikes them because they are the ultimate authority. There can be no rule of law, for example, in a theocracy.Where doe the rule or law originally come from that says that's not right?
People justify all kinds of bad behavior that takes, harms or infringes on others.
Who has the right to say they're wrong?
Obviously these guys missed your lecture on 'the rule of law"...There’s a significant difference between religious doctrine, morality, and ‘the rule of law’. In this day and age if you shilled or were a benefactor of any liberal "changing the world for better" programs you most def are a part of the "government" and are expected to vote as such...particularly in a bright blue state like Minnescrotum that danced all over the Republican losers graves with a show of force by validating this Somali crookery...you bet all of those involved both vote/donate Democrat and are connected to the govt...None of those indicted hold official positions in government, as far as I can tell.
What‘s your point?

What fucking idiot scheduled the presentation to be there with that docent?A 4th grade teacher at my sisters school took her students to a field trip at Cal State San Bernidino to look at Native American artifacts.
Great right?
Anyway, the presentation was held in the LBGTQ center [wear there are posers of guys kissing guys] and the docent was transgender dude dressed as a women.
The parents found out and lost their sh!t, going after the teacher.
But the teacher didn't know.
What happened is the colleges created these special DEI programs about 5 years ago.
The programs are really unessessary.
So they are all sitting around thinking, "What can we do?"
I think they are getting comfortable now and can assert.
I don't think they are evil.
I think they just want to make it so the kids don't get triggered by this taboo behavour.
I don't think this is a bad idea.
The poison is in the dose and the timing.
We have so many real problems.
That this takes up so much bandwidth is unfortunate.
But humans can't have anything nice
They didn't know. What fucking idiot scheduled the presentation to be there with that docent?
Is CSU San Berdoo that much of a academic bubble?
YOu're arguing with Q. You can't argue with Q.The following links to a list of the 48 people charged in the scandal.

How do you know that they‘re Democrats or vote for democratic candidates?
I’m still curious about what this has to do with the rule of law. Are you trying to suggest that Democrats are somehow above the law and Republicans are not?
always missing the point in the most spectacular way possibleWhat fucking idiot scheduled the presentation to be there with that docent?

And what was the point?always missing the point in the most spectacular way possible
maybe consider not letting blind rage drive the bus for a day...
Serious plate of shrimp moment that this would hit the news a few weeks after I finished Dark Star Safari.Obviously these guys missed your lecture on 'the rule of law"...

My experience as a HS teacher was similar. The overwhelming majority of teachers just want to teach their stuff and improve kids' brains. The admins always made us go to all kinds of trainings to be more woke or to solve all of society's problems. Only a tiny fraction of students cared about the woke stuff though. They didn't know.
They sprung on them.
I'm sure if they knew, they would have declined.
The school is from a very pro trump area.
That is just asking for trouble from the parents which the teachers don't want.
You got to two forces at the CSU.
Academics and Admins.
This is the admins justifying their 6 figure salaries with the race and gender stuff.
There is no anti racism happening in my class. I got to much work to do for that. It's the admins and a few b level psychopath faculty.
We come to class, do our work, don't complain and GTFO.
The kids love it.
The admins have always been anti academics.
This is just the latest flavor.
A good teacher knows what is relevant. And it's not anti-racism.My experience as a HS teacher was similar. The overwhelming majority of teachers just want to teach their stuff and improve kids' brains. The admins always made us go to all kinds of trainings to be more woke or to solve all of society's problems. Only a tiny fraction of students cared about the woke stuff though.
You are both correct. And what was the point?
Auto said colleges created these DEI programs because reasons. I commented on how these colleges are living in a bubble
Cut an admin position out and everyone gets daily truffles on their desk.At my work, they took all the old candy and snacks out of the vending machines shops that had been sitting there for 2 years due to covid and gave then to the departments in a show of appreciation.
All the snacks were due to go off code that month.
The provost came around handing them out in brown lunch sacks like it was some great thing she was doing.
So out of touch.
They are so flush with cash too.
So they are definitely out of touch.
My classes are going great and there is a teacher shortage so life is good for me.
