Landing at LAX at 9:30 Tuesday morning feb 8th, spending a week at my friends' place at Tower 42 on the strand at el porto. Will likely drive down to NCSD for a few days, maybe the 9th to the 12th or something, there may even be a swell. American Airlines no longer charges for board bags if you have status, so I will probably just bring a shoulder bag with my 5'10 hypto, wetsuit and boots, and a bunch of clothes. I see nothing in the forecast that would warrant anything but a daily driver, let alone a spare board.

I'll spend far more time choosing a variety of outfits to pack

It’s just a credit card that waives checked bag fees and gets you free flights. Just that type of status. I only fly a handful of times a year
