Do you even supercycle bro?
not buying it, if it can go from 60-30k mid cycle it can go from 100 to sub 20k again. I'll purchase a few BTC at that price only, there isn't too much upside at current levels and the rug will be pulled eventually

I think, if I may be so presumptuous, that what he’s saying is that crypto is a bit more like casino gambling as opposed to good old fashioned stock picking based on your own or others’ research and or knowledge of trading. I know there are plenty who DO take that approach to crypto, but I would imagine the vast majority of us jumping in the pool (for me, the second time after making a grand on litceoin several years ago) are doing so with JUST enough knowledge to jump in the pool and have fun and maybe Even make some coin, perhaps even some major coin, or you might just go bust and never even know why. To me it’s primarily recreational with just enough know how to actually take some gains here and there, and not panic sell when something turns red for a while, etc. the basics In other words.and I could lose every dime I have in crypto tomorrow and it would suck, but it wouldn’t put a dent in my life. I’m not that deep into it. Just enough to make it count, and make it interesting. most coins I only own a couple hundred dollars worth

Correct.

It's all speculative.

Risky business even with a calculated approach.

My wife's students play with crypto. They're 11 years old. God knows how they got Binance accounts.

She had them doing a collage last week and they were putting up cartoon images of shiba inus.

Ultimately stock picking doesn't have a great track record either. Admittedly I indulge but on a limited basis. You just have to know what you're getting into in terms of risk and expectations - and the truth is most of us don't - it's really not a great long-term investment strategy.

Only the pros with all The mega computers and vast networks of insiders at any number of publicly traded companies can really win. Even a really really good home trader can’t compete with the big guys. While it’s fun to talk and play with crypto and my ally account, it’s really a rounding error compared to what I have in actual long term low cost tracker funds. I play with hundreds at a trade, maybe a couple thousand, never more than I couldn't stand spending on some extravagant night out once upon a drunken time many moons ago
