Ukraine doesn’t need to win. They just need not to lose. Russia is not winning by any metric. The conscription fiasco is just the latest example of Putin losing.
Russia is being humiliated in Ukraine and it will be Putin's undoing. The oligarchs and generals will see to it in 2023.
The russians could have done it and the type of warfare they are talking about is unrestricted warfare. and it would be horrifying on a large scale like Russia may be capable of. Imagine all of our power grids, internet, transportation, food, etc. all wiped out by a few tactical and bold moves, and the USA is quickly in the dark ages and will tear itself to pieces in the short term while Russia steps up
