Never heard of the one minute pump challenge. But if was going on this morning Ryan Funk woulda had it beat by 20 minutes. He dead started off a tree, pumped out, caught a couple waves, pumped by me said hi, caught another went down to the next peak, I was done and caught a wave in, walked back to the parking lot, met up with the BI crew who had been timing him and he finally cased a shallow spot and went over the bars. Pono said that was 21 minutes.
get a GoFoil 210 wing and thats easy peasy as long as the waves keep coming you can pump around all day
1 minute is a bit ambitious I think. Maybe start at 60 seconds and work up from there?

So I am going the cheap route: attempting a DIY build of a GL210 copy, dead flat for simplicity. Will report back once ready, hopefully it's the trick for 50-something pump-monkey magic.
