14. TCBY. One day my boss had me drive his car across town to get some more yogurt mix from another store. Luckily my brother had taught me how to drive stick by then... kinda. I was burning out or stalling at every light. When I got back from running to the other store I realized I drove with the parking brake up the whole time. :roflmao:

Hockey rink pro shop, working solo. 15 1/2. If it all paid the same, I would love to have that job back.

Well, first job was paper route on Lido Island when I was 11. Didn't last long because I didn't like collecting.

First real job was at 16 working in a warehouse doing shipping and receiving. It was a heavy equipment and automotive accessory manufacturing company and I really kind of liked it. Included all kinds of duties from painting parts to drilling parts and grinding parts when I wasn't packing them for shipping or checking incoming shipments into inventory.

14/15 over the summer. Dana Point Fuel Dock, ruled by the feisty and classic Reginald Sargent Doll, and his sidekick Doberman Capt’n Bligh. Buddies and I were attendants, and it was good times! Cal, veteran and Native American, was always there to talk story. Between the fishing fleet, yacht crowd, bottom cleaners and the weekend crowd, it was always entertaining. But, dang, Reggie was the Man! Kilo Charle Echo 374 ova... ran outta gas? Well, we‘ll run some out for... what? Great, then float to Newport, ya bastard’

13-15 friends Dad's record store, unloading trucks and stocking shelves, was technically too young to salary. Got paid in new releases and concert tickets, the latter of which led to loss of virginity. StoCked. :dancing:

I had a side hustle at 8 years old. Taking care of my moms colleagues pets when they were on vacation, and seeing as they were all teachers, I made a bunch of money (relatively) and saved up and paid my own way to Oahu at 9 years old, which was where I first stood up on a surfboard.
