just teach one lesson and have a camera in the room for those joining via video. record the session so people can join live or watch recorded. even the kids who go in person would be helped by being able to go back and replay the lesson
1. That‘s really not how teaching works anymore. Teachers aren’t just standing at the front of the room delivering content anymore, at least in middle and high school.
Anyone at those grade levels who are still teaching this way are a bunch of sh!t-heels.
2. attendance with online instruction is patchy at best. They turn their camera off and go play x box. And you can’t really compel students to be on camera.
3. education and teaching is much more interactive now than it was decades ago. the online teaching experience and experiment was a failure due to the lack of interaction.
4. you really think students are going to go back and re-watch video lessons? most don’t study for important exams, let alone review material independently.
5. where’s all this a/v equipment coming from? Who’s paying for it? Where are all the new computers coming from for teachers working from home on days where instruction is being done online?
