What did the five fingers say to the face?

This is a divisive one. There's context here... she has a health issue and it's well known she has a very, very hard time discussing this, and Chris Rock knows this.

As a husband I can't fault Will here. He put his on the line to defend her. Now, does he have to face some sort of punishment for having assaulted Chris? Probably.

Weird I had a dream this weekend where I bashed the sh!t out of someone defending my wife's "honor"... it felt good, I was right, and the dream ended with me going to jail (which I knew was going to happen).

Seems pretty real to me.

Here's the uncensored version. This actually happened.

This.

Lamest thing ever.

Also *an idiot*.
I kinda understand Will's side because I'm not a public person and having to deal with this kinda sh!t on a daily basis isn't in my job description.

But yeah, considering who he is and what he does, that was a pretty stupid move.

I'm pretty sure he's going to have to return the award and will likely be banned from the Oscars.

I have no idea if it was staged or not. Talking that kind of sh!t about someone's family might get you slapped.

Also apparently middle aged actors are gnarlier than a pro surfer who gets a board kicked at his dome.

Will Smith wins!

FLAWLESS VICTORY
seriously.......to not have to sit through one of these stupid ceremonies and not have to socialize with all the phony tinseltown kooks. Totally worth it.

The joke was dumb and offensive (not funny either) but you don't physically assault people over a joke.
I mean, Ricky Gervais wouldn't have been alive if that was the case.

Just the fact that he was allowed to return to his seat, like nothing happened and stay there in the front row for the rest of the ceremony, is something the Oscars should never live down.

Imagine if some unknown seat filler walked up and assaulted someone on stage?
He would have been tased and possibly shot.

Not that Oscars didn't deserve it but, like somebody said, what message does this send to other comedians?
