oh, for christ sakes, unclutch your pearls

these fkn morons want to have a proud boy rally in the middle of downtown
san francisco and so we should all weep for them when they get trounced?

you know what I'm NOT doing?

I'm not holding a BLM rally in Coeur d'Alene....
I don't think that was a proud boy rally, but even if it was, they should be able to protest without getting assaulted. If we choose to devolve to the level where you can only "protest" in areas where it is safe to do so because everyone agrees with you, then we're saying F the 1st amendment.

I see no reason for those two guys to get decked. They were walking away and disengaging and some dickhead takes a cheap shot. Said dickhead was of course hiding his identity and melted into the crowd right afterwards.

I've been seeing this escalation from these black bloc/antifa jackholes in SF and Oakland for about 20 years now and it SUCKS. They started by coopting and ruining legitimate protests by wrecking stuff when there were big crowd around. Now they are confident enough to get violent in broad daylight with only a few dozen people around. If you can't see where this probably ends up you are being willfully naive

re: Coeur d'Alene

There was a BLM protest there

tldr - people with guns showed up (Idahoans doing what they do), both sides got to say their peace, no violence

Bad analogy, waves are a resource hypothetical haole is competing for in a rude manner. He deserves the cracks. Peaceful assembly is a right. You don't have to look or listen. Why punch someone? I'd like to punch every anti-abortion "mangled fetus poster" protester I've ever seen, but I don't. Why? Because I'm a grown up and I am capable of ignoring things I don't like. It's not like they strap anyone into a chair and force their eyes open like A Clockwork Orange. I get it, it's an unpopular sentiment to hold in SF. That's the point.
Oh you don't like that one?

Go wear a Cowboys jersey at an Eagles game and see how that goes.

That's nice you are a grown up and capable of ignoring things you don't like. Not everyone is that way in the world and when you put things in other people's faces they don't like, you shouldn't be shocked and hurt that you might get pounded. It's extremely foolish to think otherwise.

Wearing Raiders sh!t down in San Diego was a notable exception though. I mean, how can you fear a fan base that dances to YMCA or had that lame-ass San Diego Super Chargers theme song? :socrazy: :roflmao:

I agree it is moron vs moron at this stage, just hate seeing that this is where we are.

On the bright side I ordered 25 mouthguards this weekend and figure I can now safely go to the mostly peaceful non gmo holistic grocery store in town for at least 2 months (I don't have dental insurance)

This only happens to right wingers at the hands of left wingers. Nobody was ever punched in the side/back of the head while being escorted out of a Trump rally.
Factually untrue, some one was punched at a Trump rally and Don the Con offered to pay the punchers legal bills, of course he didn't.

Yes, part of being a grown up is not instigating. I don't do that either. Being offended enough to punch a stranger is a way of living that is Martian to me so I like to express befuddlement. I like the Super Chargers song, it has a cool bassline.

That's why you are a Charger fan.

I still laugh at the time Spoonfish and I were at Raider-Charger game in SD, this car of CPA conference escapees tried to drive down one of many Raider Alleys; this gigantic black dude stepped right in front of their car and yelled at them, "Where the f*ck do you think you're going? You in Compton motherf*cker!" They reversed quickly.

Good times.

I love how the usuals insist that it was just a "free speech protest".

Like we don't know that the alt-right has been employing this tactic from the get go.
There's a reason why these fucks pick places like Portland, Berkeley or San Francisco.

Provoke violence in places they know it will and then play the victim.
They are not even hiding it.

And yet here we are, grapeboi and Oakleys feigning ignorance as usual.

He was just an innocent journalist!

Where’s the proof of the these right wing protestors being violent at this specific protest?

If by simply marching and exercising their constitutional rights, mostly peacefully, is considered “provoking violence” then that says more about people like you and those who feel justified in attacking them.

The people who are saying the right wingers aren't as disregulated when they protest should keep in mind that the right is running the federal government.

The federal government was made to address things like, I don't know, pandemics and the use of excessive force by law enforcement?

The right wingers should be dancing in the street because their team is running these operations.

But they are like all the right wing cry babies here.

Sore winners.

Maybe loosing will calm them down?

Except law enforcement is managed locally according to the local/state laws and priorities of the local voting populace. Which is why the larping has gotten so out of control in places like Seattle and Portland, with very little follow through by the DA.

The federal government can try to pass broad legislation, and they should, however it is still up to the local Police departments to change their own cultures.
