How long do your booties last? I usually get 1–2 seasons before there’s tears/ holes in the upper. Currently have solid Patagooch ones that still look great after first year. My older backup pair of Visslas are pretty thrashed.
1 season for my vans. I still use them as a backup to my new replacements.

My vans booties are useless with my corduroy trac pad, my back foot slips and slides everywhere. I had to paddle in and take them off, anyone else experience that problem?

Anybody know someone who ships and has the 3mm in size 10.5 or 11? Want to try them but can't find any instock anywhere. Ordered some xcels but they were too small and by the time they got the return they were sold out of the next size. Been wearing rip curl dawn patrols for the last few pairs and I'd like to try something else.

Vans has 5mm's on the site but I'm afraid of trying round toes.

FYI: I only use Van booties now for the past 4 years. I have found the 3mm last about a month before they leak. The 5mm boots are thicker but not by a lot. I barely feel a difference. I get about 2 seasons with the 5mm compared to the 3MM. Others may have different experiences with them. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Thanks, the rip curls I've been wearing leak after the first few weeks too. Also after a few months water gets between the neoprene and liner and it gets trapped making a weird bubble when I get out of the water. I just pulled the trigger on the 5mils but like an idiot I somehow ordered womens 10.5, hopefully they can change it before they ship.

My old Drylocks lasted ages, but I think half my toenails will be jacked up to the grave, and they kinda hurt my feet as well.

My Vissla, I am pretty sure I stepped on a sharp something or other and put a hole in the bottom and I couldn't get it to stay sealed up. Whatever I did seemed to last halfway to the water, even just putting them on on the boardwalk. Was getting water and a shitload of sand in there. 3-4 seasons, and three months would be a long booties season for me.

I picked up a pair of 3mm round toes a while back. They didn’t last long and were leaky like others pointed out. Switched back to drylocks. They’re the best out IMO.
