I got alot of bloodwork done, urine test and a stool sample sent away. CT scan on my belly. My BP was 114/66. The Dr said my bloodwork was remarkable. Perfect health. What surprised him the most was that after 6 days of diarrhea and barely any food, my electrolytes were normal, better than most healthy people's levels. He asked what I was drinking. I said twice a day for the last year, I drink salt water. Redmonds Real Salt. He looked at me funny. I said I also take a high quality magnesium supplement. He said this has helped you so much here. I was prescribed Cipro due to eating in Mexico. They suspect its bacterial gastroenteritis. And some anti nausea and anti diarrhea meds. The stool sample tests for parasites and E Coli. Im contagious. Gonna milk this the rest of the week. Im not doing much work wise.

Dirty White Trash. Always & Forever. Life just isnt the same being unable to surf IB. I have only had a handful of sessions there in the last year. Every time I go to OB, I am like why did I make this drive? Afternoon Blacks has been my savior as well as my east coast trips. The word on the street is by the end of the year, the Mexican Army will complete upgrades to the sewage treatment plant, so praying this is true.

The ER Doctor called me yesterday. Stool sample was positive for Campylobacter Jejuni, a bacteria that causes acute infections in the intestines. He said no wonder you were shitting and vomiting for 6 days, that's a nasty one. Almost assuredly came from eating in Mexico. Im mostly better but still cramping with very little appetite. Bad news is I am at risk of developing Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Fuck.

Now the CDC has your information...campylobacter infections are reportable.

Mom-in-law gave a few us such an infection about a decade ago for Thanksgiving. We no longer let her make holiday meals.

Chinese for Xmas in 2023!

It's ok. Because of the OMB data breach around 2012, every terrorist organization and foreign government has my information.

My wife got that some years ago, likely from petting animals at a fair.

On the bright side she got really thin.
