This isn't about travel to other countries. This issue is for freedom within this country for its own citizens.
You have the freedom not to get vaccinated and obtain the passport.

And your employer has the freedom to fire you because of your freedom to be an asocial asshole.

You live in a society.
Start acting like it.

Access to what?
Shops, flights, public venues, work. They already have this in China. They're trying this in New York:

I'm not a leftist and I'm not defending anyone. Simply pointing out the absurdities of your conspiracy theory. Sorry, but that's what you call baseless allegations that fly in the face of all practical realities. But by all means continue believing Bill Gates is the boogie-man. :roflmao:
So you didn't bother to find his TED talk on this topic? You don't seem to have any idea how technical product planning, sales, and marketing work, so you can't see an obvious marketing campaign in the press for a targeted launch date. There are none so blind as those who won't see.

To all those willing to try to understand, read this from Bezos' paper:

So it's a global conspiracy plan by the wealthiest philanthropists on the planet (as well as countless government and health officials, scientists, all of the mainstream media, etc.) to limit consumer access for retards that refuse to be vaccinated? :crazy2:

You really think Bill Gates was so desperate to turn a profit on ID software that he created a pandemic?

Here's an idea: maybe he saw the writing on the wall long ago - based on our failure to prepare for these sort of events that have happened at fairly regular intervals throughout human history - and started preparing for it? That's generally how intelligent people and successful businesses work and it doesn't require a whole bunch leaps of faith and obviously logical fallacies to get there.

It's whatever you call it when all these people are openly telling the public they're working on this and what it will do.

No. Can't you read? https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/14/investing/curevac-ipo-coronavirus-vaccine-bill-melinda-gates/index.html

Punch: "gates +vaccines +profitable" into a search engine and see what you get.

Or conspiracies.

Here's my search: Gates profit from vaccine

And this: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/may/14/facebook-posts/no-evidence-gates-foundation-will-profit-coronavir/

They do not appear to confirm your bias.

You provided a a vague link that shows he invested in a vaccine manufacturer that had a large IPO in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. No sh!t. As far as I can tell it failed trying to create a covid vaccine though. What is that supposed to prove again?

This article makes him sound like a real monster though:

Gates on Friday said he and his foundation would spend $150 million to distribute vaccines, if they are found, to some of the world’s poorest people. It’s one of the largest financial commitments for coronavirus response to date from Gates, the world’s second-richest person. The Gates Foundation is handing the money to the Serum Institute, the largest manufacturer of vaccines globally by volume, to produce 100 million doses that would cost at most just $3 each.

Gates has been among the foremost leaders on vaccine production over the last two decades, spending $4 billion on the global vaccine development effort known as Gavi. And for months, the billionaire has expressed profound worries that while rich countries may fare okay at surviving the coronavirus, the pandemic will devastate poor countries that can’t afford to administer the treatment, whenever it arrives.

“We’re trying to make sure we can end it not just in the rich countries,” Gates said in an interview with Bloomberg this week, stressing that he is focusing on the vaccines in development that would be affordable in the developing world, such as those being pursued by the pharmaceutical companies AstraZeneca and Novavax. “Those are the ones most scalable and low-cost.”

....

The Gates Foundation has now pledged about $500 million in total to respond to the pandemic, though the $150 million announced on Friday is technically an interest-free forgivable loan. Most of that $500 million is focused on this nuts-and-bolts work of vaccine expansion.

....

Working in Gates’s favor is that his foundation has a lot of experience in distributing cheap vaccines around the globe. Gates has put more than $4 billion over the last two decades into Gavi, which is estimated by the Gates Foundation to have immunized 750 million children and saved 13 million lives.

Prior to Friday’s announcement, Gates had committed $100 million to Gavi specifically to buy and deliver a Covid-19 vaccine. In June, Gates had promised to send $1.6 billion to Gavi over the next five years for its broader vaccine work.

I found this:
This article makes him sound like a real monster though:
You seem completely ignorant of how billionaires operate. They don't just have a billion dollars in the bank they can go access at any time. They control wealth through corporations and charities in which they hold shares and controlling interests. They're way up this year:

Charities are often non-profit philanthropies, so of course Gates wouldn't make a profit on paper from it, but his wealth would still increase from the amount of money he controls. He has been investing in vaccines and related technologies since 2015. Like most VCs, he's invested in some winners and losers. This year, however, he had something in his portfolio in the right place at the right time.

Notice that you're focusing on Gates when I mentioned several other corporations and posted articles to government agencies working on this. Gates merely said last year that they were working on this, but the press has been running articles of this sort all year in lower volumes. Last week was the marketing launch of the idea with a blitz of articles. The press tells you what is important, and notice that we're all talking about it this week.

Funny how you guys are all about requiring a form of documentation in order to function in day to day life but scream that a form of documentation to vote is tyranny

so you’re now in favor of a federal voter ID, more government regulation, and more intrusion into your life?
